What does the Guild do for me?
The Guild represents you in bargaining for wages and working conditions.
The Guild represents you in disciplinary proceedings.
The Guild represents you in grievances.
The Guild represents the issues of pharmacists to the state board of pharmacy.
What responsibilities do I have to the Guild?
You need to pay union dues. This will be deducted automatically from your paycheck . The amount per quarter is the same either way. (click here for complete explanation of Dues & Fees) The amount for full time or part time pharmacists is $27.50 per month. This is quite low in comparison the dues other unions require.
You are a professional. Take pride in being a member of the most widely respected profession in America. Act accordingly.
You need to respect the fellow Guild members you work with. You need to deal appropriately with the people you supervise, clerks and technicians, and with Kaiser management. When a question arises you are always free to ask the Guild for guidance.
Who can I contact with questions?
You can call, write, or email the Guild office.
